I love what yoga has done for me and I love passing that knowledge on. Yoga is a adventure where you are forever learning and exploring ones self . I have practiced yoga on and off since i was a child. A few years ago I started practicing daily, which lead me to embark on a life journey sending me backpacking through India where I did my 200 TTC in traditional hatha. Throughout the rest of my travels through South East Asia I explored my self-practice, where I found a strength that I never thought I would regain. I felt strong, stable and grounded in mind, body and soul. I have since also qualified as a 500HR teacher.
We so often take our body and breath for granted as we live such external lives with busy minds. I find yoga an incredible way to go within, whether its reconnecting to our breathe, slowing the mind or exploring our body in a much deeper way.
Yoga for me is a way to bring the mind, body and breathe together and together reaching a better understanding of ones true self.
Beginners often feel intimated by yoga or if athletic, believe the misconception that yoga is not challenging. But yoga is a wonderful tool for all levels to become more mindful. It allows beginners to reconnect with their body and allow the mind to become still. And once you have established your practice it can be viewed as a challenge and enhance the mind and body.
My classes are playful and powerful with focus on leading with the breath to help deepen your practice on all the senses. I encourage growth of the physical and spiritual self. I allow the students to remain true in respecting their own body and try and make every practice ones own journey within. I love helping people reconnect and go within themselves and explore whilst challenging the body.
I love going on adventures with my kiddes yoga and ‘moms and tots’ classes. I also offer relaxing and gentle preggies yoga classes .
I strive to teach my students to be fulfilled by yoga.
