Lauren Prindiville

Wanderlust at heart, Lauren was born and raised at the Jersey Shore. Upon graduation from the University of Vermont, Lauren moved to Spain to teach English for 2 years, floating around from country to country whenever she had the chance. It was here where Lauren was first truly introduced to yoga, and began incorporating it into her daily life.

After feeling content with her European travels, a full time elementary teaching position presented itself in the jungly surf town of Nosara, Costa Rica. Without ever having stepped foot in Central America, Lauren decided to pack her bags and move there. In Nosara, Lauren fell more and more in love with yoga. She decided to enroll in Yandara Yoga’s 200-Hour training in Bali, Indonesia to deepen her personal practice. However, as soon as she taught her first class, something radiated within her and she knew this would be a big part of her life. Lauren stayed in Indonesia to teach yoga for the remainder of that year on the islands of Lombok and Gili Trawangan.

Off the mat, you can find Lauren teaching elementary school Spanish or daydreaming about her next trip. Additionally, she is an ambassador for the non-profit organization GLOW, go light our world, committed to bringing solar lights to underprivileged areas of the world. She teaches monthly donation based yoga classes where all profits go directly to GLOW.
