Lauren is a certified 500-hour Yoga and Level-3 Mat Pilates teacher. Yoga classes are slow but powerful dynamic flows or gentle restorative poses mixed with yin yoga; Pilates classes enable students to gently tone the body and build strength. Lauren's teaching places special attention on alignment and use of breath, and helping students adjust poses and exercises to their bodies, rather than the other way around - classes are accessible to all levels. She views movement as a way to keep the body healthy and the mind calm, and likes to infuse humour in her teaching. Classes are focused but fun, aiming to help students experience the benefits of practicing and to feel comfortable with themselves.
