I teach meditative flow yoga, mixing flowing movement with relaxation and breathing exercises. Having started practising yoga while working for a management consultancy in New York 17 years ago, I quickly found that it helped me cope with the stress of modern urban living. I have since studied with numerous teachers in London, New York, San Francisco and India. In that time, I've practiced Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Yin, Jivamukti and Restorative yoga. In 2007 I completed a Foundation Course with the British Wheel of Yoga in London and in 2008 travelled to Kerala in the South of India to complete a one-month intensive teachers training course at the Sivananda Vedanta Ashram in Neyyar Dam. Focusing on gentle, yet challenging, yoga postures, and breathing exercises, my approach helps students increase strength and flexibility both on a physical and mental level, as well as develop concentration, inner peace and general well-being. I currently teach private students primarily.
