I believe that every experience in life is a lesson and an invitation to go inward. My aim is to create an environment that encourages growth and self-acceptance with physical strength leading to inner strength that supports us in yoga and in life.

I am also the former owner of Bonda Yoga in Great Neck Long Island and Bayside,Queens. Bonda Yoga had been part of the yoga community for 8 years and I am so grateful for the opportunity to have served many people for so long. I have been teaching Vinyasa Flow yoga on Long Island for 15 years and first introduced the Prana Shakti Flow style of vinyasa yoga in 2007. I bring awareness to the wisdom of the body by building upon the anatomical principles of movement. This enables students to take these principles and apply them to all kinesthetic practices.

I am certified at the 500 hour level in the ISHTA yoga style. I attended the Be Yoga/Yoga Works 500 hour certification program in New York City under the guidance of Alan Finger, founder of ISHTA yoga (Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra and Ayuveda.) I am also certified in Trauma-based yoga and utilize these principles in all classes that I teach. In addition, I took an on-line course in the Yoga of 12 Step Recovery which utilizes the practice of yoga to help overcome addiction.

My intention is to help guide and nurture each student on their life path where ever it is meant to take them.
