Leela grew up in Santa Cruz, California and has been studying and working in Tel Aviv for four years. She has practiced yoga for the past ten years and is a certified 200-hour Yoga Alliance instructor, soon to receive her 500-hour YA certification. For Leela, yoga is energetic and challenging as well as meditative and calming, cultivating health and well-being. She believes yoga to be a physical, mental and spiritual practice that should be accessible and beneficial to anyone. In her teens, Leela studied ballet in a pre-professional capacity until a chronic hip injury forced her to stop. Reestablishing yoga into her life for these last ten years has helped her to heal and has restored her to a more optimal balance in body and mind.
Leela’s classes are designed to build strength, flexibility and stability in order to fine tune our personal alignment so we can move better and healthier. She invites you to join her dynamic and active vinyasa flow classes to find balance and lightness throughout your practice and daily life.
