I have been teaching yoga since 1986 when I completed the Sivananda teacher training program. I went on to study Ashtanga with Danny Paradise, Iyengar and Shadow yoga. I love the beauty, power and serenity of merging alignment, movement and breath.
A subsequent diagnosis of glaucoma led me on a personal search for the underpinnings of health. Through my study of anatomy and physiology, and craniosacral therapy with the Craniosacral Education Trust I began to understand and apply the healing power of dynamic stillness - the ground substance of consciousness - that underpins all movement, and ultimately life. This led me to the study of yoga nidra as taught by Swami Satyananda.
As well as teaching yoga privately and internationally, I served as the Director of Yoga and Director of Teacher Training for triyoga London, in which capacity I set up, developed and taught on the triyoga teacher training program. I practice biodynamic craniosacral therapy in London, specializing in HIV. I am a certified HeartMath Coach. And I continue to manage my glaucoma symptoms through yoga, craniosacral therapy, HeartMath and diet.
