I have been a student of yoga for more than 20 years and teaching for the last 11. With a focus on alignment, fun and flow, I strive to meet each student where they are and help guide them on their journey of yoga. I use breath and meditation in my classes to provide a well-rounded approach to yoga.
I earned my 200hr Certification in Seattle and later was certified in Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga in Los Angeles. I have taught in Seattle, Los Angeles and Denver, and now live and teach in Coastal Virginia. I am currently working toward both my 500hr RYT in addition to a Children’s Yoga Certification (95hr RCYT). I love teaching families and watching how yoga can strengthen family bonds as well as providing tools for kids and parents alike to navigate a healthy outlet for stress. I love traveling and adventure. My husband and I spent a year backpacking around the world, including a month living at an ashram in India. These days I enjoy knitting, reading and attempting to keep plants alive. I homeschool my two girls and love integrating the yogic lifestyle into everyday life.
“I believe yoga is about creating space in both the body and the mind. I love using games, laughter and fun to help each student tap into their own inner teacher, acknowledging the infinite wisdom that lies within each one of us.”
