My yoga has developed over the years from a dynamic hatha flow into a slower style, that has long held postures whether that be in a yin or flow practice. I find practicing this way helps me access my inner self in a deeper, more connected manner. I truly believe that people should not have to 'fit' yoga postures, rather that the postures mould to their unique shape. For this reason you will not be bombarded with alignment cues in my classes, rather guided into shapes.
My initial 250 teacher training in 2010 was with Bharath Shetty from Ananda Yoga India in Mysore. Additionally I have completed a 150 hour mentorship with Ambika Chadwick of The Yoga Social and 300 hours with Paul and Suzee Grilley, internationally renowned Yin Yoga teachers.
I belong to both Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia as full members. in addition to practicing yoga, I am a qualified and practicing remedial massage therapist and am a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT).
I run a number of yoga workshops each year, which can be found listed on my website
rahlad from Yoga Arts Academy in Sandringham. I have spent a lot of time in India studying yoga with various teachers of the most influential has been Ananda Yoga India. I have completed a number of Vipassana meditationretreats and
