Leslie's was introduced to yoga 14 years ago as a balance to her competitive snowboarding pursuits. She immediately noticed the physical benefits of flexibility, balance, and injury prevention. As she became more experienced, yoga allowed her to tap into much more including mental focus, breath and body awareness, visualization and most importantly the ability to find her "zone" as they call it in sports psychology. These tools proved invaluable on the yoga mat, on the mountain and in everyday life situations. As a teacher, she hopes to share these tools and knowledge with her students encouraging balance of mind, body and heart on and off the mat.
Leslie received her 200 hr RYT certification through Meta Yoga Schools and has continuing her studies with workshops including two Para Yoga trainings with Rod Stryker. She believes yoga can offer students a deep connection to their true authentic self promoting health, inspiration, peace, and the possibility to reach one's full potential.
