I left behind the city and a career in broadcast PR in 2002 in order to move to beautiful Cardigan Bay, West Wales, and live a more balanced life.
I discovered yoga in mid life and didn’t start practicing regularly until I was over 50. Now, having practiced yoga for a number of years, and having trained as a yoga teacher with my respected yoga master Yogachariya Jnandev, at the Yoga Satsanga Ashram, in Login, Carmarthenshire, (). I'm devoting my time to teaching yoga and hosting residential yoga events at Glandwr Country House.
I teach classical Rishiculture Ashtanga yoga in the Gitananda tradition, (), offering lessons to small groups and 1-2-1 sessions. Retreats are run for a maximum of 10 people. I have also trained as a professional chef, so good, fresh, nutritious food plays a big part in our yoga weekends.
My particular interest in yoga therapy, adaptive yoga and 1-2-1 work. It's my intention to progress my yoga therapy training at the end of my 500 hr course. I admire the work of Adaptive Yoga Teacher Trainer, Matthew Sanford.
