I have practiced yoga for 19 years. The past 13 years I have taught in northern Maine where I live off the grid and in the woods. I teach an eclectic mix of styles in a one room school house fashion in rural Maine.

I have taken Linda's classes for about 3 years now. I love the atmosphere she creates, the pace and the postures. There is a "core" group of us and she has continued to challenge us while reminding us to honor our bodies. For me,every class is unique and I always leave in a better place, mentally and physically at peace. Thank you, Linda

Excellent teacher

I have studied yoga with Linda Rowe for many years. Her approach is always grounded, safe and yet very encouraging to push my own personal limits and to challenge myself every class. Her mindful approach makes her directions and lessons engaging and fulfilling. I highly recommend Linda as an instructor.

Wonderful Teacher!

I've been a student of Linda's for years and when I lived elsewhere I could not find a yoga teacher with Linda's balanced attention to the physical and mindfulness. Linda's knowledge also helps her develop accommodations when necessary for what student's bodies will allow them to do in a given pose and determining their "edge."

I always enjoy my class and feel as though I've learned something new each time. Relaxing, safe atmosphere. I highly recommend Linda Rowe to anyone who would like to try yoga. Perfect for beginners.

A nourishing experience for body and mind.

I have been attending Linda's yoga classes for two and a half years and find them to be one of the most rewarding things in my life next to my grandchildren. The mood she creates in her studio through music, lighting and her calming voice make her class a nourishing experience. She is always sharing some new wisdom she has gained from a video she has watched, a workshop she has attending or a new level of training in ayurveda she has achieved. She has made attending yoga class twice a week a priority in my life.

I have been a student of Linda's for many years. She is always expanding her knowledge and practice, classes are always improving. She is able to cater her class to the students present and how we are feeling. Giving freedom to the more experienced students and hands on to the newer students. She also has an uncanny ability to give the exact verbal prompt you need at the right time. It's like she knows what part of the pose you are ignoring and brings your awareness there. Every class I learn and am able to go deeper into my practice.

I am new to yoga and was referred to Linda by a friend and co-worker. My work with Linda has had a noticeable impact on physical issues. She is very patient and respectful and a great teacher. I find the class challenging and satisfying physically and emotionally.

Balanced approach

Linda uses a "slow-flow" approach to building strength and flexibility. Her classes are appropriate for a wide range of students . . . from absolute beginner to more advanced. I've attended her classes twice a week for over 2 years. I'd consider myself past middle-age but energetic (in spite of a few extra pounds). Linda's classes have helped me overcome some aches/pains in my hips and knees. I can't imagine a life without the yoga practice that she has imparted.

Wonderful resource!

I have had the privilege of seeing Linda in both class and private session settings. She has a very easy-going, compassionate, and passionate-about-yoga personality, which makes participation comfortable. She recognizes the needs of special populations (those older participants, those with chronic ailments) and will encourage adjustments and an individual's process of growth.

In a private setting, Linda is very comfortable listening to the client and helping customize routines which meet particular needs. It's obvious that Linda doesn't just teach yoga, she lives the yogic livestyle and is comfortable helping others find their own path.

One characteristic which I really admire is that Linda is actively growing as a yoga teacher and practitioner. She continues to learn new elements and to incorporate those into her classes, private sessions, and her own practice.

You cannot go wrong taking classes or sessions with Linda!
