Linda developed severe scoliosis as a young teen. Choosing not to have surgery, she has explored multiple non-surgical methods of living with scoliosis over the years, and ultimately found that practicing Iyengar yoga has been the most beneficial and life-changing for her. Yoga has empowered her sense of well being, given her stronger alignment, and served as a powerful tool for pain management in dealing with her scoliosis.
Yoga remains a center-piece of Linda’s life, and has given her a sense of ease, calm and balance/centering in her busy family life bringing up three boys here in Ventura.
She is dedicated in her own yoga journey and practice by continuing to take classes, workshops and teacher trainings with senior Iyengar teachers like Chris Stein, Marla Apt & Tal Messica.
She is passionate to share her knowledge of both Yoga and Yoga’s application to scoliosis through her teaching, seeking to empower her students to develop their own love for Yoga so they too can also reap the many gifts of mind, body and sprit it has to offer.
Linda earned her 200hr RYT and Yoga Wall training with Iyengar teacher Bryan Legere.
