In 1968 Linda was walking in a library and a book fell off the shelf in front of her. She picked it up and was very intrigued by it. The title was, The Complete Illustrated Book of Yoga, by Swami Vishnudevananda. It was a beautiful blue color, so she checked it out. It helped her get through a very stressful time.
In the early 1970’s she moved into an ashram in Florida and dedicated herself to the yoga lifestyle. Linda lived in the ashram for seven to ten years, and continued to live the lifestyle for many years after that.
Linda has helped staff several of the workshops at Yogaville; the ten-day silent meditation retreat is one of her favorites. She presented Self-Transformation through Conscious Breath at Yogaville, and Breath and the Chakras at the AMTA, Virginia Chapter Annual Conference. There is nothing like yoga to completely change your life. Whether you take it for your own personal growth, or to share and help others with their growth. It will change your life for the better.
