Lindsay has been practicing yoga since 2003, inspired by the movement, intention, reflection, deep study, and art of the method. She brings her sweet and calming personality, keen understanding of alignment, creative sequencing, and love for the practice of yoga and healing arts to each class. She completed her training with Katie O’Connell and Melissa Scagliarini at Vidya Vinyasa in northern New Hampshire in 2015. Lindsay has been practicing a number of styles of yoga over the years including, Ashtanga, Hatha, Bikram, Yin, Restorative, Asusara-inspired, Iyengar and Acro-yoga. Lindsay is a member of Yoga Alliance. In her classes you can expect to move with thoughtful engagement and challenge yourself to be present with your breath and body throughout each class.

Lindsay sees yoga as a way of life; she believes in the practice involving and evolving into more than just asanas (physical postures). She continues to be inspired to grow her understanding of this lifestyle through daily practice, continued study with teachers locally and nationally learning about both physical and subtle aspects of the practice. Yoga has provided a platform for Lindsay to further explore her relationship with her self, her community, and the natural world around her. Yoga helps her create a daily rhythm that optimizes her ability to stay grounded and centered. The awareness, gratitude, dedication, challenge, joy, and respect that are cultivated through the poses and contemplations on her mat are carried with her off her mat and set off into the world. Be it scraping her tongue, snuggling with her dog, running along the coast, laughing with friends and family, hiking in the White Mountains, or preparing nourishing meals; Lindsay sees that all the choices we make in each and every moment create our own reality, why not live a life with utmost zeal and deep presence? Lindsay offers these reminders and opportunities to her students as well. As a yoga teacher, she is thrilled to be able to offer the New Hampshire seacoast community a space to practice and collectively celebrate our innate, playful, spirited selves through movement, meditation, and study of daily living and optimal health.
