Hi! I'm Lindsay! But you can call me LuLu ❤️
My work is my life's passion and my life purpose. It's my favorite thing, my Art form, my source and outlet for creativity and eternal inspiration: Helping you find and appreciate all that is YOU.
My yoga practice, in many ways, found me. My first experience of yoga was doctor recommended actually. It was a one-on-one class with a teacher in 1999 and completely unfiltered. Here I am, 12 years old, learning how to cool my body down by breathing through my left nostril, learning that we have no idea what the human body is capable of, and that the mind limits us constantly. What he taught me about yoga asana, breathing (pranayama), the mind-body connection and the boundless possibilities of the human form and mind, made sense to me on such a deep level. A level I had never had access to before. I had a whole new connection to my body, a whole new awareness of my mind, body and breath; and an eternal source of inspiration. And, of course, from the moment I began to practice yoga, I wanted to teach it. The practice lit me up in every possible way, and I couldn’t imagine not sharing it with everyone I knew!

Many years and many obstacles have come across my path since then, but yoga has been my constant and a major instrument in healing. I’ve struggled with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, insomnia, great loss, worried myself into sickness, body image issues, shame; I mean you name it. But healing is a process, not a button or a switch. Just like yoga is a practice, not a one-stop shop or a quick fix. My yoga practice has been my outlet, my medicine, my teacher; it’s taught me how to trust myself, it’s taught me how to trust my body, and most importantly the practice inspires me to run towards my life instead of away from it.
It doesn't matter who you are, where you are, how old you are; how stiff, sick, inflexible, or any other There is something in this practice for you. Guaranteed. ❤️
And in case you need credentials: I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I'm a 300 hour Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher, a Licensed Massage Therapist and Craniosacral Therapist, and in love with my jobs!
