Lisa Flynn wants to live in a world where all people can slow down, inhabit the present moment and feel an indestructible sense of well being.
As a yoga teacher, Lisa has been invited to share this passion in her native San Francisco, Thailand and now in New Haven.
It was her yoga practice that grounded Lisa unlike anything else through her two most challenging and formative years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Uganda. After that experience she knew she wanted to share the gift of yoga with everyone.
When she’s not meditating or instructing vinyasa flow sequences, you can find her laughing at silly puns with her husband, blending farmer’s market produce into green smoothies or assisting with research at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence.
