Following a car accident and back pain that didn't let up I tried yoga in 1997. If I missed a week the pain returned so I learned that this was a hobby for life. An inspirational local teacher called Cathy introduced me to The British Wheel of Yoga and later next year I took a Foundation course to deepen my understanding of yoga (2003-2004). A full-time job as a CBT therapist in the NHS alongside a growing family meant I delayed my Teacher Training, completed in 2013.
I initially embarked on Yoga Teacher Training to deepen my understanding to enhance my role as a Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy Teacher, Supervisor and Trainer, the diploma transformed my personal yoga practice as well as my mindfulness practice. For that I will be truly grateful.
