Lisa is an experienced Para Yoga teacher initiated into the Sri Vidya lineage and empowered to impart mantra and meditation practices. She is also a PhD Clinical Psychologist and a Viniyoga trained yoga therapist enabled to design personalised prescriptive practices for individual home practice. Lisa integrates her knowledge and experience in yoga and psychology to provide group yoga classes designed to promote balance and holistic wellbeing, and yoga therapy sessions tailored to the needs and priorities of the individual.

a great workshop on yoga to manage anxiety

I took a workshop wth Lisa a few weeks back at Life Centre Notting Hill, about yoga for anxiety. I went out of interest for my students, as I am teacher in a big city, where lots of people struggle with anxiety, but I also went to accompany my boyfriend, who has been on a path to more inner peace for a while now. We both got a lot out of the workshop, both in terms of theoretical knowledge passed on and in terms of a very pleasant practice session. Lisa also stayed around to answer questions afterwards. Her safety-based Viniyoga style really appealed to me. I hope to have other opportunities to train with her.

Wonderful, experienced and welcoming teacher

Lisa's classes are a beautiful mix of thoughtful and joyful movement with the added bonus of gorgeous meditations. She threads traditional yogic practice into her classes but they always feel welcoming to different levels of practitioner. I'd Highly recommend trying her regular class, workshops and/or her one on one yoga therapy sessions.

A true yoga journey!

I have been practicing yoga for 10 years and have been going to yoga with Lisa for a year and a half. Since starting with Lisa I have truly begun to understand and value the 'mind-body connection' that is the foundation of yoga, as well as the importance of looking after ALL of myself. Yoga has stopped being only about fitness, strength and flexibility, but had also become a part of my general self care and wellbeing.
I feel like I am on a great yoga journey!

Oh and her weekly pre class emails are great too!

Best outcome and review you could have given - that your yoga practice has become more holistic and that it is assisting you to take care of ALL of you. It's a pleasure to watch this happen.
