I started practicing Yoga at 4 years old, and dipped in and out until I was in my late 20's when Yoga became very much a part of my life. I gave up work to focus on my Yoga studies as a student, training with Judith Lassiter, Makunda Stiles, Francois Freedman and Uma Dinsmore-Tuli. I have been teaching full time for over 13 years and own Yoga Place E2, in East London and the newly opened Yoga Place Abertawe in Clydach, Swansea, Wales.
I teach for Yoga Campus London, and between both Yoga Place Studios in London and Wales.
My classes are creative, mixing somatic sequences, with classical Yoga, working very much with a focus on the breath, to move fluidly and deeply into postures, holding some, moving between others. Yoga Nidra is also a big focus in all my classes, when and where we can, or at least a chance for students to rest fully before they head off into the bustle of everyday life. I also teach very gentle Yoga classes, as well as Yoga for stress & anxiety. And of course, Pregnancy Yoga and Yoga for Labour; a birth preparation.
