I've been teaching bikram since November 2012. I love this yoga so much, I've seen it transform people within weeks. It's amazing to see how it can help heal injuries, restore mobility and help people overcome fears and challenges. My teaching style focuses on precise alignment to the best of the individuals ability, and creating a safe and healing experience for my students. We all have vastly different bodies, no posture will look the same on anyone. It's how the posture feels that is important.
I've been teaching yin yoga since October 2015, and I absolutely love how this practice compliments bikram and other yang style practices. We could all use a little more yin in our lives, a chance to slow down, and learn how to reflect rather than react. I teach yin from my home studio, Oak Grove Yoga at 50 Whites Rd, Mount Duneed. Classes are 90 mins and include guided meditation.
