Liz is also certified as a Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists. IAYT advances yoga therapy education, training, and research, and supports the professional development of its members. IAYT recognizes the rigorous training of Iyengar Yoga Teachers and our aligned efforts to make available the healing art and science of yoga to all people.
Her classes are equal parts steadiness and lightheartedness. Liz founded Nama Yoga on the philosophy that when we let go of old ideas, try something new, and have some fun, anything is possible.
Liz brings her study of yoga philosophy and personal experience with addiction recovery to workshops and lectures that emphasize a spiritual solution to modern maladies.
