If you have the chance, work with Liza- she is fabulous!

Liza Keogh is by far one of the most talented yoga teachers I have had. I have been fortunate enough to be a student in her classes, worked with her one-to-one in person, as well as one-to-one long distance. She is fabulous!

Her approach to yoga is a unique one. Her awareness of anatomy (physical and subtle) and her ability to tailor a class or program to your physical needs paired with her intuition about what you may be needing on an emotional level lends itself to a highly customized approach for each individual.

Liza is skilled at adapting and modifying poses throughout a class so each and
every student is able to participate to the level they choose within any restrictions their bodies may have. I started working with her after having been discharged from PT due to SI joint instability- but she has seen me through rib inflammation, neck and shoulder limitations, and joint swelling/pain. Due to my many rounds of professional physical therapy, Liza is the only teacher that I have trusted to adjust my posture in poses- and every time she does I find that my body is more and more able to understand what it needs to do to correct my posture and alignment off the mat.

I have found that Liza is so attuned at guiding her students to get into their bodies in order to be in the moment- and by the end of my session I find that I have been transported to a completely different mindset with my body feeling more healed, my mind being more calm, and my heart feeling more full.

If you have the chance to work with Liza, be it in a class, or one-to-one jump at the chance- you will be so much happier for it!
