Louise comes from a contemporary dance background and still teaches dance for adults and children. She has always been inspired by the body, its wisdom and intricacies and it was through an injury that she was lead onto the path of therapy work. She graduated in 2005 as a Shiatsu therapist through the Ealing School Of Shiatsu and qualified in Indian head massage and Hot Stone Therapy with Jing Advanced Massage training.
Through working on retreats as a body practitioner, she has trained and worked with many great yoga teachers and practitioners from around the world. This inspired her to complete her own teacher training Diploma in India at Yoga Point. She extended this training to encompass pregnancy yoga with Sitaram and as a mother herself, thoroughly enjoys working with mothers-to-be.
Through her love of yoga and the other modalities, she has gathered a deep and diverse understanding of the physical body and how it relates to the subtle energy body.
Louise believes in continual personal development and integration. The inspiration of teachers such as Thich Nhat Hanh, Michael Rose and Sarah Powers, enable her to bring her experiences together with mindfulness and a deeper aspiration for change and evolution for all. It was during a stay at Plum Village that Louise received her name Harmony of The Heart from Thich Nhat Hanh.
