I am a professional contemporary dancer, mother of two boys and trained Sivananda and Vinyasa Yoga teacher. With over 20 years of experience practicing and teaching yoga all over the world, I have designed a dance flow of energizing and healing postures.
Being a dancer, music is an essential part of my life and I have been lucky enough to unite with a very talented Cellist and composer to create an exciting new project combining yoga and live music composition and performance. At the Carpinteria studio live electronic composition and cello performance gives inspiration and breathe to the flow of postures and emphasizes the healing of the body, mind and spirit on all levels. Music also liberates us during the flow allowing us to access a lightness in our practice.
My classes are infused with inspiration from my daily life with yoga, for me, yoga is about being human, embracing our imperfections and opportunities to transform. Teaching for me is the magic, it is is about celebrating and acknowledging each person who chooses to join me on the mat. The mat is where we can experience a lightness of being and discover the joy of who we really are.
