My commitment to practice comes from an incandescent passion to be present. I am a student to the moment, a constant work of adaptation, and through the practice I have learned to forge strong bonds between the many different parts of myself. Having practiced consistently for over four years, I find that the subtle shapes of our bodies reveal their wisdom when we come to stillness and truly listen to our needs. I may never know it all, but I have seen how yoga can make light come forth from darkness. That is a subtle magic. This is my gift to you.
In June of 2013, I completed my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training through the Vancouver School of Yoga with Lauren Hanna Roegele. There I received the school's single intake scholarship and graduated with the confidence and grace of the school's teachers at my back. I have been teaching regularly for well over a year now through drop-ins, corporate classes, and private instruction. I am currently mentoring one on one with Shannon Cluff, with whom I have also completed the Teacher's Integration Program three times. My training continues as I work towards my 500 Hour Certificate through Semperviva Yoga College, where thus far I have completed Restorative I with Tianne Allen.
