Hi, my name is Mackie. I love dogs, yoga, food, and art and I love to study. I’m a somanaut, a dedicated and persistent explorer of the mystery and magic of human embodiment. The path of yoga, from the physical practice to the philosophical context that informs the practice is my passion. I believe yoga is more than just an exercise, it’s a profound spiritual exploration and a design for living. My classes emphasize alignment and breath based movement and are designed to build strength as well as flexibility. I strive to make my classes fun, challenging, practical, and accessible to anyone looking to create transformation in their lives, whether their desire is to open their hearts or their hamstrings. I believe that the end result of either intention brings us closer to achieving both.
