Having danced for most of my life, yoga became a supplement to my body practice. I studied drama and dance and Rhodes University, where First Physical Theatre Company gave classes in ashtanga vinyasa, to help train students in physical awareness. After doing my teacher training in Mysore India, I taught Yoga at FPTC as part of their body form classes. I believe yoga to be a means to obtain physical and mental awareness, as well a body practice through which to personally grow. Teaching for myself is an extension of learning about the body and its physical and mental abilities.
