Mallory discovered her love of yoga through her practice as a theatre artist in college at the University of South Carolina. After graduating with a in Theatre and English, Mallory moved around the country—making pits stops in Greenville, SC and Seattle, WA—before settling in Connecticut to work at Long Wharf Theatre. Her passion for yoga was re-ignited when she began taking Yin and Restorative classes at Raven’s Wing Yoga in Branford and discovered that her body had the power to do much more than she ever thought possible.

Looking for a way to combine the empowerment of yoga with her creative work as a teaching artist, Mallory earned her certification through Karma Kids Yoga Children's Yoga Teacher Training Program. She is thrilled to be part of The Classroom at Elm City Wellness and looks forward to teaching her students to move, breathe, and discover new ways to use their bodies in a fun and safe environment. Come play yoga!

Fantastic with kids!

My 3-year-old loves Miss Mallory and enjoys "playing yoga" with her. She's very patient, which is saying a lot because, after all, my daughter is 3 and hard to focus. But Miss Mallory kindly guides her and demonstrates the poses and games, which my daughter tries at home when we bring out the yoga mat. I like that it teaches her body awareness and she's learning, all while in a creative, safe and fun atmosphere. Miss Mallory is not afraid to get down on the floor and speak to her on a toddler's level, and we look forward to seeing her soon!
