Countless descriptions and metaphors have been used to describe the word "yoga". From my experience as a student, I can relate the practice of yoga to an adventurous journey. The journey of LIFE itself.

I believe that yoga is the fusion of science with art and spirituality. Just like science, yoga is vast and alive. Its practices are like methodical processes that encourage us to experiment, test and review the secrets of the natural world within ourselves. Like art, yoga is endlessly creative and it encourages one’s body to express freely. And just like a philosophy of living, it grants the genuine practitioner an insight of Reality and Truth.

I have practised yoga since 2004 and taught since 2007 and it has become my way of life. To me, yoga instructor is not just a job, but it is a responsibility and a passion. I feel so blessed, grateful and inspired to be a thread in the majestic tapestry of the lineage of yoga. It gives me strength to feel a part of this unbroken transmission of knowledge from teacher to student (Parampara).

I am a certified yoga teacher (RYT 200 since June 2014). I completed my yoga training from Samahita Retreat with Paul Dallaghan, Koh Samui, Thailand. Paul is one of my teachers; he is a senior teacher in Asana and Pranayama.

I have been focusing in the Ashtanga Vinyasa method for the past eight years and I have been practising under the guidance of teachers that come from this lineage. My research brought me to Mysore, India, in 2010, where I spent two months studying at the KPJAYI under Saraswati’s guidance.

Lately I have been experimenting and enhancing the practice of Ashtanga with Yin Yoga, Anusara, Pranayama and Meditation. I keep a daily practice. I am still learning everyday and I believe that, in order to teach a quality yoga class, it is necessary in the first place to nourish your self-practice.

In addition to yoga experience, I have been involved a lot with nutrition, organic food, vegan and vegetarian food. I spent the last seven years in yoga retreats involving in cooking. In my most recent years, I have worked on a food coaching programme, teaching people how to eat and cook in a more healthy way.

A good yoga teacher who is there when you need help

Manuel is a dedicated and friendly yoga teacher who is there when you need help.
I'm so blessed to have come across a team of dedicated yoga teachers during my 2-month yoga practices in Samahita Retreat Centre, Thailand.
Manuel's one of them. He is a good and friendly yoga teacher who is THERE when you need help.

Thank you very much Vicky, it was my pleasure to share this experience :-) I hope to see you soon!!!

Great teacher, beautiful energy

I know Manu personally as a friend and as a colleague. He has a beautiful, calm energy which he brings to his classes. He is engaging, kind and very good at explaining things so students understand. If you have the opportunity to take one of Manu's classes, I highly recommend it! You won't regret it!

Thank you for all you do. Xx

Dear Summer,

Thank you :)

Manuel delivered a lovely session in lumpini park for a mixed group of students and made us feel very welcome. Manuel is incredibly informative and educated us about the asanas. He has a great knowledge of each asana and although teaches an astanga style, is adaptable and interesting to talk to about being open to different styles. thank you Manuel, I will come back to another class soon :)

Self-adjustment made easy

Ah yessss! Manuel makes you aware of how much further your body (& mind) can go by teaching how to do it without having to push yourself to the limit. He honors the limitation of every student and just let's one enjoy the benefits of the pose, stress free. Thanks for constantly reminding us 'to breathe'. Also by stating the first and basic steps that need to be done in preparation to get out of the pose, i.e. inhaling, curling your toes in, putting down the arm firsts & looking up, etc. I think many teachers forget this because they are so advanced that it has become second-nature to them but to the beginning student it is sooooo important! Gracias Manuel, mucha suerte en todo!

Well done. Kudos to Manuel Yoga.

I attended an excellent and dynamic Vinyasa inspired yoga class for seniors and older adults that Manuel taught on March 9, 2015 in Bangkok. I found Manuel to be not only be quite proficient in the yoga postures but also a super teacher who gave numerous options to meet the needs and capabilities of the people in the class. He also seemed quite kind and clearly explained what we were doing, which added a lot to my enjoyment of his class. I'm very glad that I went.

Great experience

I really enjoyed this class and the way how he explains everything. Good eye for corrections, he easily found weakness in my poses and corrected it.
Worth to recommend.

Thank you very much Konrad,
I had a great time teaching this class. I hope to see you again!!

Yoga close to nature

This is my first time practicing Yoga outdoor in the park and also my first time with Manuel. I am happy to say that I really enjoyed it! With his high profile, I found that Manuel instructed the class in the very friendly way, focusing on the breath and the limit of each one's body. I definitely join his class again next time!

Thank you Fai,
It was great to have you and I hope to meet you next week!!

Phenomenal teacher who lives and breathes his practice

Manuel is a student first and foremost. It's this studentship that gives his teaching an authentic power that's unmatched. Everything he does is an extension of his yoga practice.

Very impressive

It's my third time so far in his class. Manuel was very friendly, approachable and detail oriented. In the class, there were students with different yoga background but could conduct the class and bring out the potential in everyone. Well, I have to say that I'm very inexperienced in yoga but Manuel explained to me step by step the relationship between body and mind during the practice. The way he taught was impressive. Although he didn't push me too hard, he encouraged me to reach my potential.
