So grateful to have stepped on the yoga path! It was 1969 and I was 15 years old. It must have been a kundalini class, because in recollection, the East Indian instructor wore a white tunic and a turban on his head. The room was dark and lit by candles. This was strong impression for a pisces teenager.
My yoga journey continued, inspired by numerous teachers along the way. I had the opportunity to serve as the President of the Arizona Yoga Association (2007-2009) and the organizer of the annual Bisbee Yoga Expos (2005-2010) in southern Arizona. After teaching Hatha Yoga for 22 years in Bisbee, Arizona, my family and I moved to the Big Island of Hawaii in November 2015.
I was honored to have been an instructor at Kalani Oceanside Retreat in lower Puna before they closed due to the lava flow. Now teaching at our home studio; classes are taught in a meditative style with postures flowing spontaneously in a smooth sequence. Each class is unique and always enhanced by inspirational music. All is One.
