I began practicing yoga on a regular basis in May 2012 when I realized I needed to take time for herself. I quickly began benefiting not only physically, but mentally from a regular yoga practice and was hooked and wanted to learn more about yoga besides just the physical practice. I completed my 200 hour training in March 2016 at Flourish Yoga + Wellbeing studying under Jen Xanders. When I decided to make the commitment to yoga teacher training I was doing it to deepen my own practice and discovered how much I enjoyed sharing yoga with others. I enjoy a variety of yoga styles, since they all have their own unique benefits, but prefers Warm and Hot Vinyasa flows. I will occasionally teach a kids yoga class.
I love helping others and for years have been trying to find a way to do that. I am delighted to be able to share my passion for yoga with my students and bring awareness to the breath and how that is the fuel for our bodies. As a new teacher and a registered member of Yoga Alliance, I am eager to share my love of yoga with students of all ages and abilities.
