Each person who attends my classes and private sessions receives tips and tools to live the healthiest and happiest life now. I want my students to feel well, to find ways to manage stress more easily, to think, speak and act with compassion for themselves and the world around them. When we feel good, we do good in the world.
My classes are a blend of the dynamic flows of Vinyasa Yoga and the meditative exploration of asanas in Sivananda Yoga. Breathing exercises, mantra, meditation, and relaxation, that heal the body and focus the mind are introduced. Additionally, my classes accommodate all levels of fitness and I take into account the effects of weather, world events, daily happenings, etc, on the group's overall state of being.
I hold a in Psychology, in Humane Education, and am registered with the Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT200 level. I have written articles for Elephant Journal and I occasionally write on my personal blog, Peace and Yoga.
