I started practicing in London in my local gym after continuously trying to find my ground in dance, fitness, aerobics and some more dance and then a lot of different yoga. But until my first Mysore style Ashtanga class with Luiz Veiga, I was not sure of what these series of movements were. It was a great self-expression though physical transformation, however the deeper layers of benefits and the true understanding of yoga was still in the shadow for me.
I found my practice though attending Mysore styled classes and felt the connection with the system and the philosophy of Ashtanga yoga. Saying that, there is a lot of yoga systems out there, and for me it is important to be receptive towards them. I'd say, if it feels right, do it! Be kind, be strong, be light, be connected.
I trained with The Yoga People and With Yin Yoga - Sebastian & Murielle Pucelle in the most beautiful Bali island and am qualified Ashtanga Vinyasa and Yin yoga teacher.
