Any time that Mari can share yoga, she feels both humbled and blessed. What began as a struggle four years ago to become healthier and stronger has become a joy in sharing. She loves doing and guiding meditation, restorative, yin and also hatha/flow. She began exploring yoga with co-workers twice a week at lunchtime. Now she helps guides her friends regularly at community yoga.
If you want to breathe, move and rest easier, then restorative, yin and yoga movement that focuses on balance and harmonious alignment might work for you. Mari would love to share your hopes for better health and rest starting with gentle, but safe practices. She completed her first 200 hours of training to be a registered Yoga Alliance (YA) Teacher in 2012-2013 at Avalon Yoga in Palo Alto.
Her latest studies in 300 to 500 Hour (YA) specializations includes study at Five Branches University (San Jose) in Accupressure/TCM (125 hours), and Yin/Restorative Yoga and Meditation through Peacebank Yoga (Redwood City), Center for Spiritual Enlightenment (San Jose) and Doron Yoga (Doron Hanoch and Lauren Anas, Palo Alto and Mountain View).
