My relationship with yoga began as a physical practice and has grown to become a daily mental and spiritual practice. After years of dancing and running and working my body to the bones I found myself injured and rarely able to walk without pain. After knee surgery yoga was the healing practice that strengthened the supporting muscles around my joint to bring movement back to my body and simultaneously calmed my racing and restless mind. This year I completed my first 200 hour yoga teacher training and I am grateful to be able to give back some of the magic this practice has given to me physically, mentally and spiritually.
