Mafe first discovered yoga when in grad school at UW Madison. However, it was not until she moved to DC that she realized her transition to the “new city” became “easier” the more she embraced her yoga practice. After experiencing the benefits of yoga, Mafe was inspired to share them with other people and completed her 200-hour teacher training at Studio DC. As a yoga teacher, Mafe seeks to bring something for everyone encouraging students to link their on-mat experiences with what they experience off of it. “Yoga is what helps enhance and sharpen one’s capabilities.
