Marianne has always found solace through movement. She shifted her focus from professional dancing to yoga in a period of grief and found herself healing, transforming and connecting (both inwardly and to the surrounding community) through yoga. She began her teacher training in 2011 at Semperviva Yoga, where she trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Yin, Restorative and Prenatal Yoga. Marianne fell in love with combining creative Vinyasa flows with energizing Kundalini Krias. She believes that one of yoga's greatest gifts is its ability to create space in our minds - to remind ourselves (again and again) that we are enough, that all of our feelings are valid and that if we are able to look at ourselves with a kinder lens, so too will we see more warmth and beauty in those around us. Marianne's love of music, comedy and dance influence her classes, creating a vibe that is engaging, energizing, quirky and fun!
