I LOVE Yoga, plain and simple! I love to learn, instruct, practice, and share. I love to see people fall in love with Yoga. I love the way I feel when I practice Yoga. I love the history of Yoga. I love that the education of Yoga is unending.
When I found Yoga, I knew I wanted it in my life forever, no matter what form. I started by taking a lot of classes, then later I decided I wanted to learn more, so I went to Sonoma and spent a month with a wonderful Yoga community called It's Yoga, I received my first 200 hr certification in Ashtanga Vinyasa. I came home and applied what I learned to my everyday life and kept it to myself, as I was learning a lot about myself. I read as many books as I could and I started taking all kinds of different classes. Almost 2 years later, a great friend was opening a studio and asked if I would join her team as a yoga instructor. I did, and I learned so much people, balancing my practice and life, and being open to help guide other eager beings to understand the depth that yoga is. Last year, I decided to take another 200 hr training through Power Yoga Chicago. I again learned so much, this time about listening to students and their needs. I am always online searching out my next yoga endeavor, while working on planning a few of my own with Tonic!
