To be a part of other people’s yoga journey is an honor to me. In my teaching I want to help students reach beyond what they thought was possible both physically and mentally. For every student this is approached in a different way. Every student is unique and needs something different.
Something about my own ongoing yoga journey. For many years I had been curios about yoga and tried different styles but I was always disappointed that it did not resonate with me. In 2005 I attended a power yoga course and I really liked it and continued to practice this form at different gyms. But it was not until I came in contact with ashtanga vinyasa yoga that I was taken by storm. I fell in love with ashtanga. The positive effects it had on me were amazing. It changed me as a person in so many ways, in positive ways. And after a long ongoing daily practice my teacher Anne-Lie Boman asked me if I wanted to assist in her classes and later on my journey as a teacher had begun at ashtanga yoga Uppsala.
For many years I was content with just practicing ashtanga and not curious in other forms. It is quite recent that I started an interest in vinyasa flow. But this could not have happened without the knowledge I had received through the ashtanga practice.
Today I teach different classes at Ashtanga yoga Uppsala, Storvreta Gym, Ekeby bruk A 30. I teach “sagoyoga” for kids at various libraries. I also love to teach private classes. To be able to give all your focus and attention to one individual is special.
