I am a Certified Sampoorna Yoga Teacher (RYT 200). My yoga journey started in 2012, while living in South Florida. It was a particularly difficult period in my life, only month prior to to my Breast Cancer diagnosis. Following my Breast Cancer diagnosis I underwent a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and finally radiation therapy.
Being grateful that Sampoorna Yoga has found me during this challenging time, I soon experienced the fullness of the practice and the transformation in the body and mind through the system developed by Shri Yogi Hari, called “Sampoorna Yoga”, the Yoga of Fullness.
Enthusiastically immersing myself into Yoga changed the course of my life immeasurably. I tried different Yoga styles in the years to follow but kept returning to Sampoorna Yoga. I finally attended the Sampoorna Yoga Teacher Training Course with Shri Yogi Hari in 2015 and received my Yoga Teacher - Yoga Shiromani-
Since obtaining my Sampoorna Yoga Teacher Certification I have been sharing yoga with men, women and children. I love teaching and practicing yoga. It helps me remain strong, grounded and happy. It also helps me to manage and deal with the ups and downs of everyday life. A regular Yoga practice has become an essential part of my life that I will cherish forever.
