I first started practicing yoga when I was 19. I did my first class in England and I remember thinking that the breathing part was boring. I moved around from place to place in my early 20's and I kept going to more classes wherever I was. Something kept drawing me back about the practice because it made me feel good in ways I wasn't aware of. I eventually learned that the breathing part was the nectar of the practice. I am from British Columbia, Canada where I did my 200 hour YTT in 2010. Since then, I have moved to Australia, and have started a family. I teach 3 classes a week in the Vinyasa style. I love a dynamic and strong practice as a physical challenge with the breath can bring internal balance and growth.
