I was born and raised in The Netherlands.
Pralaya Yoga brings together my love for movement, my intuition, as well as my analytical capacities. After obtaining an engineering degree at the Technical University of Delft, and holding several different jobs in the creative and cultural industries, I decided to follow my passion, and study dance at the Dance Academy Tilburg. It was around this time I first came into contact with my teacher en mentor Robert Boustany, the founder of Pralaya Yoga.
Unfortunately my life was turned upside down by illness. Having been diagnosed with IBS, I had to quit dance and instead found myself forced to figure out the workings of my body, my digestive system, and also the energies within me. With the help of several great people, and after spending a month in Houston under the tutelage of Robert, I found myself on the way to recovery, getting healthier and regaining my energy.
I was able to hold a part-time job again, and also started teaching the yoga that had helped me. I started dancing again, working with to do performances across the Netherlands. Recently I was able to give up my part-time job to focus solely on my yoga, and I now live and teach Pralaya in Delft, and the surrounding area, give workshops all across the country, and even have the privilege of teaching at teacher trainings in Paris.
I travel regularly to Houston to train with Robert Boustany, and take time to assist him whenever he is teaching in the Netherlands. I am also working with him to document the Pralaya method, and I am currently in the process of taking his material and writing manuals for Pralaya Yoga.
