Mary has practiced meditation for six years to manage chronic pain and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Iyengar Yoga has been her greatest influence, instilling the truth of the intelligence in the body. A yogi for 26 years; she teaches mindfulness workshops and a weekly Restorative Yoga class at the Gunnison Sanctuary. When not in the yoga studio, Mary is an Executive Director of a non-profit, is writing a book and is a Public Speaker. Born and raised in Colorado, she finds the outdoors to be an essential part of living and enjoys getting outside in any way possible; trail running, hiking, cycling and skiing are favorites.
