Yoga has become my passion and keeps me healthy in mind, body and spirit. As a young retiree from city government (parks and recreation and police departments), I attended yoga teacher training in 2016 at the accredited Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and developed a second career as a welllness practitioner. With proper modifications, I believe yoga is accessible to all people and body types. I particularly enjoy hatha, yin, aqua yoga, restorative and hatha gong and gong meditations. I also enjoy paddle boarding and incorporating yoga poses on the board. I have taught hatha, hatha gong, gong meditation and immersion, healthy backs, bone building for boomers and beyond, slow and gentle, and easy does it for Spirit of Yoga studio, Unity of Tempe, and city of Tempe Parks and Recreation, AZ, guest taught on the beach of Lake Erie in Vermilion, Ohio and at women’s retreats.
