Mascha first started her yoga journey in late 2007 while still working in the education industry. Stress at work and inability to calm the mind brought Mascha to yoga when her journey into various aspects of yoga, physiology of the human body, conscious living and nutrition has begun.
Mascha is a qualified yoga teacher and a dedicated practitioner of Ashtanga yoga. She is an eager student herself with a strong commitment to continuing her education in all aspects of yoga (asana, pranayama, meditation, chanting, philosophy), holistic nutrition and wellbeing.
Mascha has been so very fortunate to have practiced under and learnt from the most wonderful leading teachers she has the highest respect for: Peter Sanson, Stephan Kahrlert, Mark Whitwell, Eileen Hall, Mark Robberds, & Indra Mohan, Saraswati Jois, Nicky Knoff, and Sarah Powers.
Mascha believes Yoga is For Everyone and has a passion for sharing her knowledge of physical and emotional benefits of yoga with those she works with. She teaches from the heart incorporating physical aspects of dynamic hatha vinyasa and yin yoga with deep breathing.
Mascha aims to enhance the journey of her students through encouraging them to link their movement with breath to connect with their physical bodies and find stillness of the mind. She is a strong believer in the ability of yoga, together with proper nutrition, to cleanse the body and the mind.
Mascha’s life vision is Health, Peace and GLOW for Life which, she trusts, can be attained through regular yoga practice and mindful living.
