I started Yoga to try to release from stress and anxiety. It didn't get any serious until a major problem with my back about a year later. I had issues with a spinal a disk and couldn't even tie my shoes without pain for a year. After a lot of physical therapy I was feeling a little better and my practice became a regular thing. I wanted to balance my body and strengthen and especially loosen up my legs and hips. Coming from a background of tough sports like hockey and rugby I needed it. I now enjoy helping people recover from injuries using yoga. Apart from the regular classes of course!
