Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Matt discovered both yoga and dance at the age of 19 while studying ecology at university. Upon the recommendation of a friend, he tried both yoga and dance and fell in love with moving his body.
Matt left ecology behind and delved deep into the world of movement, eventually completing a yoga teacher training in India, a Pilates certification in LA and a BA in Dance from CSU Long Beach. He has been teaching all three since 2005.
Based in the UK since 2009, Matt teaches yoga, dance and Pilates. His yoga classes are dynamic and challenging, without being rushed, and he brings a focus on alignment and presents the principles of yoga in a simple, down-to-earth way.
Matt is a proud father of two.
