I was studying Music at the National School of Arts (Havana, Cuba) in 2006 when I found Yoga. I was looking for an exercise to help me fight back the asthma, and with all the breathing techniques that Yoga offered me I solved my problem easily. However, I couldn't imagine all I was about to find in Yoga’s exercises and even more, I found that Yoga a complete different lifestyle.
After two years practicing with Eduardo Pimentel, one of the most prominent Yoga professors in Cuba, I was promoted to teach my own class as a Hatha Yoga apprentice in his academy. A year later, I was named full professor by my mentor. Those were wonderful days where I learned how to teach the harmonization between body and mind. After that, I have been teaching Hatha Yoga for different academies in the US.
Life today is fast paced, competitive, and stressful. I've learned how to master Yoga as a system of personal growth and development, and nothing please me more than sharing that knowledge.
