Megan has always made it her goal to find balance in life and she does so by incorporating her favorite things; yoga, wine and chocolate! Recently, she finished up her 200 Hour Teacher Training from Yogasphere in Newtown. When she is not on her mat you can find her in the kitchen whipping up some healthy meals or baked goods for her and her husband to enjoy (don’t worry, she always makes enough to share!) or you can catch her browsing the IKEA catalog brainstorming ideas for the next big project!

She doesn’t stop there! Megan is also creative in print and paper creations and started up her own design company, Owl & Twig, inspired by Nourishing Storm! Megan’s inspirations not only come from the amazing people she surrounds herself with, but from her Finnish and Swedish roots as well. She was fortunate enough to learn at her Grandma’s side and is now the reason she loves to play hostess and get crafty! Eat, play & drink wine!

Leaves you feeling connected, inspired & blissful

Megan has this wonderful way of knowing just what to say to get you in the right position and/or she simply comes around (with her magical reiki hands) for the perfect assist that makes you want to melt. She has a way of keeping you connected to the practice in her creative use of sequencing, while leaving you feeling totally calm. Megan is a beautiful teacher and healer.

Great Teacher Relaxing Experience

Had a great experience thanks to this yoga teacher, Megan Connolly. I am new to yoga. Prior to this experience, I had only taken a handful of yoga classes, all of which were fast paced (which was not what I thought yoga was.) However, when I took a Yoga Restore Class taught by Megan it was entirely calming. At the beginning of the class, she has a nice way to guide you into a meditation away from daily worries to help you relax. Her voice is soothing.

She is very good at explaining the pose so you don't need to look up every time to see what it is supposed to look like and you can stay in your relaxed state of mind. Megan likes to use props which definitely helps a beginner like me who isn't flexible. She comes to you to make any necessary gentle adjustments. Megan uses essential oils via diffuser and topically to enhance your experience. I am looking forward to my next relaxing yoga experience thanks to Megan!
